applicable privacy laws. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how the personal
information you submit as a job applicant through this website will be handled and protected by Jeppesen.
Why We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
Jeppesen collects and uses your personal information for the purpose of determining your qualifications for
employment and reaching a hiring decision, as well as to comply with applicable laws and regulations, such
as laws related to the evaluation of those seeking employment, or to defend ourselves in claims under such
laws, or where necessary to exercise Jeppesen’s legitimate business interests and needs, in which case care
is taken to safeguard your rights and to ensure any use of your personal information is fair and lawful.
Relevant portions of your personal information, if you are hired, will also be used to establish a basic
employment record, establish and manage the employment relationship, and administer payroll, provide benefits,
comply with tax and employment laws, where necessary obtain visas, work permits, and security clearances, and
conduct other employment-related functions such as accounting, audits, and investigations concerning possible
breaches of law or company policy.
The submission of your personal data is voluntary; however, it is necessary for the registration of your
application and further steps in the recruitment process. We do not collect or use the personal information
you submit as a job applicant for any unrelated purposes, other than where obliged or permitted by local laws
to do so without informing you in advance.
You should be aware that should your consent to the processing of your personal data by Jeppesen be refused or
subsequently revoked, Jeppesen may not use your personal data for the purpose of determining your potential
employment with Jeppesen. In addition, any offer of employment could not remain in force following the
withdrawal of your consent to process your personal information.
We do not require you to provide sensitive personal information (such as information about your racial or
ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, and health or sex life). Any
such information you do provide to us of your own volition will be used only in accordance with this policy.
If you are not hired for the position applied for we may keep the information you have provided for possible
consideration against positions in addition to the one applied for a period of up to two years.
How We Collect Personal Information About You
Most of the personal information Jeppesen collects about you is collected directly from your resume or
application, and stored on servers located in the United States or Canada. We may also collect information
about you from third parties, in order to: (a) verify information about your credentials, such as prior
employment and education, (b) follow-up on references that you may provide, and (c) conduct background
investigations. It is Jeppesen’s policy to collect such information from third parties only with your
knowledge and agreement. Should Jeppesen wish to obtain such third party information about you, and you
have not completed an employment application or background authorization form authorizing us to do so,
we will contact you and request your authorization to proceed.
Disclosures of Your Personal Information
The information you provide can be accessed by any member of the Jeppesen group of companies
located throughout the World. These locations include countries which do not have laws protecting

applicants in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Access to your information will be restricted to those Jeppesen staff and designated agents who have a

to us to enable us to collect and use the personal information in the way described. Your information may
also be disclosed to governmental entities in compliance with applicable law, such as to those agencies
authorized to review and enforce equal opportunity laws. We do not disclose applicant information to job
banks, or to other external parties.
Safeguards
Jeppesen uses appropriate administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures to safeguard your personal
information against loss, theft, and unauthorized use or modification.
Applicants from the European Union
As part of its commitment to privacy, Jeppesen has joined the Safe Harbor Program jointly developed by the
European Union and the United States (see http://www.export.gov/safeharbor/ for more information about this
program, including the company’s certification to the U.S. Department of Commerce). Joining this program
means that the Jeppesen companies in the United States use and protect applicant and employee personal data
received from the European Union in accordance with the "Safe Harbor" data protection principles agreed to
by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission.
Further, where the information provided by you is transferred by a Jeppesen company in the European Union to
a Jeppesen company or agent outside of the European Union or the United States, appropriate steps are put in
place to provide adequate protection for the data.
